Genesis is looking for an entry-level Mechanic’s Helper who wants to make a career in the elevator service and installation industry. We are seeking candidates to coordinate the logistics needed to support the service and home elevator department. Elevator product and mechanical knowledge are highly valued.

Essential Duties include:

• Have a general knowledge of power and hand tools
• Having an outstanding driving record and maintaining it
• Must be at least 21 years of age for insurance regulations
• Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
• Use of safety documents, MSDS
• Never using a cell phone while driving
• Able to pull to drive with a trailer
• How to properly secure a load.
• Understand hoist-way lay and job-site drawing
• Being on time and ready to work.
• Delivering complete home elevator to the job site
• Lead by example the Genesis Way-a faith-based company

This position is primarily responsible for all duties related to accounts receivable and making collections calls on balances approaching and over terms.

Essential Duties include:

  1. Complete and send out all billing related to the following which must be done in an accurate and timely manner: maintenance and home construction.
  2. Complete and submit all lien waivers when required.
  3. Updating the coordinators of billing progress and keeping Total Service up to date with accurate information.
  4. Provide the controller with monthly AR aging reports with notes on delinquent accounts.
  5. Collaborate closely with sales organization regarding customer account issues
  6. Create deposit batch in Total service and apply payments to the correct invoice.
  7. Manage 3rd party portals where invoices may need to be uploaded.
  8. Filing for permit applications and create job site binders.
  9. Following up with all customers regarding balances approaching and over terms.
  10. Ordering of office supplies and other admin duties.
  11. Being a back up to the coordinators and dispatching if the need arises.
