A non-profit performing arts organization, the Savannah Music Festival is dedicated to presenting world-class celebrations of the musical arts by creating timeless and adventurous productions that stimulate arts education, foster economic growth and unite artists and audiences in Savannah. In addition to year-round music education and broadcast initiatives, SMF produces one of the most distinctive cross-genre music festivals in the world. The 2018 festival runs from March 29 through April 14, including more than 100 performances in venues throughout Savannah’s historic district. On the east side of the historic district, Trustees’ Garden was the site of the Savannah Music Festival all-day finale on April 14, 2018. New South Construction was contracted to build the venue 18 months prior and was a huge success seeing thousands come through to enjoy the program. Genesis Elevator Company was proud to be a part of the project providing a vertical platform lift accessing the stage.
