Jay Arntzen is the Founder and CEO of Genesis Elevator Company. With an exceptional 24-year career at a major global elevator company, he brings a wealth of experience to his leadership role. He founded Genesis to deliver industry-leading solutions while emphasizing values-based leadership, exceptional business acumen, and a clear vision for the organization.
Before founding Genesis, Jay held various positions in the elevator industry, including sales, marketing, product development, project management, field operations, and senior management as a National Vice President of Operations. He remains involved in every facet of our company’s operations, focusing on building highly motivated and productive teams to deliver outstanding results.
Under Jay’s guidance, the Genesis team–from sales and operations to licensed installers and technicians–works closely with customers to identify their unique needs and implement cost-effective, efficient solutions.

Matt Geers, President of Genesis Elevator Company, has been with the organization since 2014. In his current role, he works alongside the leadership team to drive the company’s vision, strongly emphasizing project quality, customer service, and team alignment.
Before becoming president, Matt held various roles within the organization, gaining valuable insights and experiences that shaped his leadership and management approach. From working as a mechanic and technician to working in sales, supervising the service department, managing company finances, and leading as Vice President, he has witnessed our organization’s quality of work and dedication at every level. Such extensive experience has been instrumental in his professional path.
Matt holds a BA in Education and an MA in Ministry, accomplishments that have lent him a distinctive lens alongside insights and skills that have shaped his creativity and growth.
Outside of the office, Matt likes to read, exercise, and spend time outdoors with his family–whether camping, hiking, or watching his children’s baseball or softball games.
